Comments: So crowded that there were a few places I had to slow down and walk only because there was no way arnd the masses. other parts... I went outta my way by using the sidewlks.... lots of weaving arnd people. What would you do differently?: Enter the competitive division of the race instead of the recreational division...so i can get in and out early plus avoid the crowds Post race
Warm down: wlkd arnd the pavilios, etc. What limited your ability to perform faster: heat heat + more heat Event comments: According to the race docs, there were supposed to be 3 water stations on the course... there were only two. A really bad thing since it was SO hot and humid out. Also, they changed the race times online..WITHOUT warning....within a week of the race. This contradicted all of the printed material given to teams in advance of race day. Not good. Also... the park @ the RBC-- shuttle to the event... was a nightmare. Waited in line for an hour to board a bus out to the site. Next time ... I'll take my chances w/ street pkg and walking in. Great kids zone for post race activities...and excellent post race org. Not having had water in mile one was just reallly bad. I was so dehydrated, I ended up in urgent care on sunday due to heat affects. not good. Last updated: 2008-04-27 12:00 AM
