Comments: Good run on a well groomed course, What would you do differently?: Run harder and try to get down to a svelte 225 lbs. from 236 lbs. before next TRI event. This should assist in getting time down, or at least prevent feet from throbbing so much after the pounding of concrete for a few miles. Anything beyond a 10 K requires a large bottle of generic, WalMart, Ibuprofens at the turn around with a jug of Gu to wash them muthas down with, a shot of espresso helps to. Post race
Warm down: Beer, listen to U2 tribute band, gather medal for second place and drink more Beer at The Hideaway Pizza Parlor. What limited your ability to perform faster: Clydesdale Class, Freakin wind in the face on the way back to finish line and conditioning, must train harder...Love those BRICKS Event comments: Great time and this a well attended event, it's the largest night race in the state.
