YES, YES, YES, and YES. And especially from what I know of you, YES.
I was fortunate enough to attend (free of charge) a half-day seminar/Q&A with him, and it would have been worth every penny had I paid. Personalized attention was not part of this presentation, yet he took a half-hour to speak with my friend and I and answer questions about our upcoming marathon afterward. He invited us to e-mail him with any more questions or thoughts before the mary (in a week)--I did, and he answered!
I had already run four marathons at that point by training with his method, but he gave me specific advice that wound up saving me on that particular marathon and changing the course of my future training.
I am a dedicated "Gallowite" and having seen thousands of runners (through working with AIDS Marathon) successfully train from the couch through finishing their first marathon without injury has made me a firm believer.
His books remain a very valuable resource to me, and I often go back and look things up. You will, however, receive advice, updates, and attention during the school that are invaluable to making your personal running training the best and most enjoyable it can be.
Plus, he is just as nice as can be, an incredible presenter, and really, really funny.
