1 Hammer Perpetuem 3 hours before race time. 1 Hammer Gel 10 minutes before start. Appx. 24 oz. of First Endurance EFS 20 minutes before start. 48 oz. water 3 hours leading up to race. 2 cups of coffee 2 hours before race.

Comments:

Had to consume 48 oz. of EFS to prevent cramping. Cramped like the dickens upon crossing finish line.
What would you do differently?:

Very muggy, high dewpoint and "sultry." Not much I could do. Wish my start was a bit stronger.
Post race
Warm down:

Inhaled 2 bananas and Gatorade upon crossing the finish line to alleviate the cramps.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

High dewpoint. Crappy start.

Event comments:

Dave Hardin at "The Biker's Choice" in Hendersonville, TN alwasy puts on a good race twice a year.

Nice job Terry! Looks like you have made great progress with the cramps! Those hot, humid conditions are brutal. When I race on really hot and humid days I get real nervous because I have a history of having to make a quick run for the bushes if I get out of range of the port-a-potties!
