Nice 14 miler scheduled for tomorrow.  I might make my running goal, but I have basically given up on the others.  What is on everybody elses plate?

I seemed to have messed up the spreadsheet in the strength section. Ooops sorry. My goal was eight sessions, which I have completed.

Finished a swim this morning.  Run at lunch today...

I'm definitely not gonna make it:

100% of swim goal
34% of bike goal
42% of run goal...

Not looking good for me either.  I had a very casual month of training but didn't set very casual goals.  And apparently I've forgotten how to get to the pool - only 2300 yds this month.  Oops!  I think someone stole my swim mojo.

Maybe I should sign up for the Sept challenge to see if it can help me find some motivation.

Ok so I no longer think I will make any of my goals.  I am having IT issues after yesterday's 14miler.  I only need 10 more miles, but I think resting my leg is more important.  We will see though, I am awefully thick headed.  Guess I will have to but forth more effort in Sept.

I completed and wow'd myself on my running! Thanks for the challenge! With a little incentive, it's amazing what we can do. BT rocks!

lyssa-gator - 2008-08-25 9:16 AM i nailed all my goals except for the running. (of course) ever since getting my new bike (and falling in love with cycling) i can't seem to get my running butt in gear. LOL anyway, i'll update the spreadsheet with my stuff, and although i've had a blast with the casual challenge thing, i think it'll be good to have some competitive team stuff going on again.

I hear you on this one. The first casual challenge was nice, but I really slacked off this one. I am on Dee's Sept team though, so I don't think finding motivation to push through it will be difficult this time around.

Dear Travis,

"Motivation" will not be an issue for you for the next 30 days. Every day, in every way, we'll be watching you.

Well, I hit my running goal of 170 miles (174 total) - got in a 20 miler on Saturday. That was my important one. Missed out on cycling and weight though.

Congrates on getting you running goal.  170+ miles in a month is an awesome accomplishment.

I on the other hand missed 4 out of 5 goals, which was my own doing.  How did everyone else do??

This challenge was good for me.  I got out and did more than I normally would've.  Didn't reach all my goals, but at least got to 40% in all 3:

Swim: 116%
Bike: 48%
Run: 67%

Can't believe September's already here.  Good luck with this month's goals everyone...
