Not that many percentage wise. The people WITH nice bikes, show them. The rest of us with entry level or standard bikes probably don't.... You only get to see the high end stuff because that's all that's shown I'm guessing. |

Since I am too lazy to read all that has been posted, I will that it is exciting to see everyone's new tri bikes. I teach high school and my wife stays home. Our two daughters go to private school. This means that I have to live vicariously through Bike Porn Threads. I ride an 84' Centurion Dave Scott Iromman Expert steel framed bike. It has old school Scott clip on aero bars. I got it for free and it is the reason why I do tri's. Santa brought me a Fast Forward seat post and a Profile Design Tri-Stryke seat. I commute on it, train on it, race on it. It is so worn out that once a week I have to turn around and pick up the left side crank arm off the road and reattach it to finish my ride. I love my bike! I won't be getting a new Tri bike anytime soon, So please keep post Bike Porn Threads.. |

But that said I rode the simply outstanding pornish Huffy 12 speed when I was young. If my parents had kept it...I would have updated the components a bit and would probably be riding that lol. |
