Pre-race routine:

@ packets of oatmeal and grape juice 2 1/2 hours pre race. Relaxed until time to leave. Got to facility and set up transition area and walked around to orient to where everything was.
Event warmup:

We got into the pool late because lifeguard took a break so just 2 lap swim.

Run went well I was able to push myself. I started to feel a cramp with about 8 minutes to go but manage to breather it out. Knee and shin were a little sore but hopefully they will recover quickly.
