Extreme Veteran  594   Austin, TX |  Subject: IMAZ 2009I think this question has been asked here before, but I can't find the thread with the answer. What are the chances of getting a slot for IMAZ '09 if I go volunteer/register at the November race? I'm just worried that the majority of the slots were taken in April, and I've never tried to register for an IM before so I wouldn't really know what I was doing, and therefore would probably be last in line.  |

Last year was a special case because there were 2 IMAZs, spring and fall, so there were double the amount of return athletes signing up and double the amount of volunteers signing up. Won't be the same this year. |

Yes, even with 2 on-site signups (April and November) it still went online and there were slots until late in the day. |
