Subject: Is Madison going to be ready?

I have been in Madison three weekends now and State Street is pretty torn up... Anyone from up in that area know if all the construction is going to be completed before ironman?

If not is there any plan to keep pedestrians out of the way during that portion of the run course?

they know all about the race coming up.  large section of the bike course in verona was under heavy construction all summer but was ready for race day.  no worries!!

Seems like there is always something significant under construction in Madison.  I recall last year a big chunk of something downtown was all torn up.  They just routed us around it.  I'd expect if they haven't announced a course change yet, then they must be expecting it will be done by then...or at least done enough to let the race go thru.
