Warm down: walked and stretched drank water and gaterade mixed What limited your ability to perform faster: got my feet wet at the beach. I tried so hard to keep away from the waves but I think the tiyed was coming in fast. Event comments: Great race to start the season. It was more like a cross country type race with it winding through a golf course and onto the beach, then back through the golf course and up a hill to the finish. It was very muddy because of the rain we have had all week, and the sand on the beach was extremly soft. There were also rocks to jump over and avoid. Last updated: 2005-02-05 12:00 AM

Woke up at 0520. drank water with vitamins. Got dressed and drove to event and ate a power bar on the way. Got to event, registered, then did stretching and a slow run of about 1/4 mile.
stretching for 10 min, slow pace jog for 10 min
