Camp Pendleton Half Marathon - Run

 Comments: This was a difficult run. I felt lactic acid burn out at mile 6. I had to work to just finish. From mile 11 on I was struggling just to keep running. What would you do differently?: Use better shoes. Utilize gel packs at miles 4 and 9. Hydrate as I do when I train. ![]() Post race 
                                        Warm down: Hit the pool. Ate and Slept. Yoga What limited your ability to perform faster: 1st Eventfor me Needed gel caps Hydrating correctly Event comments: This race is not for the newcomer. It is difficult.
