Subject: Lake Shore Drive redo knocks out lanes

Anybody know what this will do to the bike portion of Chicago?  If I remember from last year, two lanes were designated for the bike, two for cars.

Construction is only be conducted during "off hours" so during rush hour in the am and pm, they have all 4 lanes open for traffic. So I would assume that since the race had permits and everyone is aware of it, the construction crews will have this Sunday off and the race will proceed as normal -- traffic in outer lanes and bikes in inner lanes.
