Subject: New Bike - Cracked

So, after trying, testing, getting fitted, thinking, talking, posting...etc. I finally decided to order myself a new bike. The QR Seduza.

A very reputable online store had a sale on it and I thought it was a good deal, and was perfect timing for me to get the new bike, so I ordered it !!!

After two weeks of wainting anxiously I got the bike in !!!

I noticed the box was pretty beat up, so I took some pictures before opening it (I work for a major carrier company, so I know) and found nothing wrong with the bike at first until....

Started to put the seat and handlebar together when I noticed a dent right in between the stem and the fork, so I feel it and it's cracked, my brand new bike is cracked!!! I immedialty contacted custumer service and they are sending a new bike for me, let's hope this one gets here intact.

Still I have another week of think, wait, talk, brag and convice my wife that this was a good deal!!!

That blows.  But it looks like you made a good choice using a reputable online store.  Thank goodness for good customer service.  The wife will know it was the right move when you tell her to "look how fast my new bike makes me" as you whip around the block like a kid with new shoes.  We'll be waiting on the porn.

Bummer about the bike but great that they are sending you another one.

Enjoy it...and I'm sure you're wife will see how happy it makes you.

Since this was a reuptable online business, and their customer service apparently rocks, and they are making good on what sounds like a shipping company error, it sounds like you had a positive experience with the company.  Care to share their name?  I prefer to do business with companies that stand behind their product like that.

trisports.com, I didn't want to mention it, b/c I know some people may think it was them, but I truly believe it was not their fault.  They were so professional about it and took care of it immediatly, she called me within 30 minutes of my origional complaint to let me know that she had already contacted the carrier company to schedule a pick up and apologize again.

The next day I got the email saying that my bike was shipped with extra packaging material (as I requested it).

Anyway, their custumer service was  exellent, and extremely professional!
