Ok, here's the deal, I just recently was fit for an Elite Razor and absolutely can't wait for it to come! However, when the frame arrives I have to be ready with a paint scheme and any customization I want (scripts, logos, etc.). I can't believe this is the hardest part of buying the actual bike, but I've found that it is. Anyway, if you have an Elite bike out there can you post a pic so I can get some ideas. If you don't, I also wouldn't mind any other custom paint jobs that have been done to other bikes as well.

Thanks for any input!

Dan

Would you change anything looking back on the experience regarding the paint and logos?  Do you still like the clear fill with the white outline for the ELITE logo, or did you contemplate between that and the white fill logos?

Thanks for sharing the pic!

Its actually white outline with black fill (see the fork) but since the downtube is black, it looks like no fill.  I love it.  In fact, I've yet to see another Elite that isn't white logo, and I really love that mine is different in that respect.   I love that there is not another single bike out there that's exactly like mine.  No regrets.  Love it.  You'll be happy with it no matter what.

I spent a lot of time looking around at the shop in Philly looking at pictures of bikes and mine is actually somewhat copied from a Razor.... The difference is the Carbon and the yellow pinstriping between the carbon and the alum. Like 3558 said I love my bike and love it even more knowing that no one has the same one. Make sure to get your name on it. I think that is a cool feature.

Another consideration that I made with mine was keeping only the stars on the fork. I could have put Elite, but thought the design was getting a bit busy. The type wouldn't have come up very well on the silver anyways.

A pic of my old Elite (I liked keeping the navy blue/yellow theme to match the race wheels):

Dave works with a awesome paint shop. I did a full on custom pain job with INFINIT logos and it is spectacular. Post pics, ELITE is a phenominal company.

Thanks for the advice.  I just got word from Elite that the frame is in the last "build" phase and should be arriving back at the shop soon.  I think I have enough ideas to make it my own.  I can't wait.  I'll be sure to share the pics when it's all said and done.  Thanks again!!

Sharp looking bike, good choices (though slight whine is required as your photo lighting doesn't do it justice .

Too crazy is something that typically gets old fast.  I would keep it mellow.  Kind of like free condiments in a restaurant.  Just because the pepper is free doesn't mean you need to pour it all on your pizza.  :-)
