Subject: 3rd Annual SAC Tri in St. George
Anyone going to this? After much heckling by my wife, we've decided to start doing triathalons. This will be my first, and her first in many years. It's on October 18th, which gives me about 7 weeks to stop being lazy and start hitting the gym!

Hmmm..... wasn't planning on it.... but then I didn;t realize it's over UEA weekend.... might have to reconsider...

Dunno... hoping it won't be too difficult. But we have a friend in the hotel industry, so we kinda have a hook up in that area.

 

If you come down, you'll be certain to enjoy watching us flail miserably!

I think I'd be flailing along right beside you, actually. And yeah, i did forget abut that pricey little hotel room parked next to my garage... *roll*. Actually, I looked at my calendar and somehow I managed to sign myself up to work that weekend. I must not have been looking at my own calendar at the time. I don't remember thinking I should work over UEA weekend.

It's my anniversary that weekend, so of course I'm looking at making my wife suffer through supporting me on a triathlon on our seventh anni! I'm either going to do this one in St. George or the Pumpkinman in Las Vegas, which seems fun because it's an open-water one and by Las Vegas!

After not training hardly at all for the South County Triple Tri, I made myself a little training program for the next six weeks so I can kick some buttocks (my own!) at either race.

I'm also planning on doing the Turkey Tri in November to wrap up Season 1....
