Subject: RE: TI ClassI haven't taken the group class but I am getting private TI lessons and they are extremely helpful imo. The videos are great but I feel that we often think that what we are doing is what we saw on the DVD and in reality, its not (myself included). So having someone there to correct your positioning, offer additional tips, answer the questions you have now (or will formulate as you get new info) is all a great thing of course. And so as much good as I think coaching provides (group or 1 on 1) the $$ value is unfortuantely something that we all can differ on and that's the hardest correlation since everyone's $ value structure is different. Ever have a personal trainer in the gym, or a tutor for something? If you have & you think those experiences were helpful/insightful, then you'll probably find benefit & value from instruction. If your swim experience, form or speed is still not where you think it should be and you've exhausted friends' advice and reviewing TI DVD note taking while in the pool then this is probably your next step and you'll more than likely make gains and be happy [I hope :]
I don't often get a chance to follow back up on threads I've posted to so if you have any specific questions feel free to PM me ~ |
