Im up grading my wheels (got Shimano r500's) at present on a Giant trinity 2 bike, 105 set up, was thinking of the easton circuits based on all the positive reviews, but im wondering would it be worth the extra hard earned cash for the zipp flashpoint 60's ?  Im looking for a fast reliable wheel

Just for race day or would you want to ride them everyday?

The Easton wheels are a great all-around set; the FP's are a bit more aero and would serve you well for races/TT's.

If looking for comparison to the Easton's, I'd suggest Ksyrium SL's...or, if you want to stay in the FP/Zipp family, Zipp 303's.

I've got Easton Circuit's and they're pretty much bomb-proof; I've raced on them some and do all of my day-in/day-out riding on them.  For the money, much bang for the buck.

I'm looking really for wheels for racing in, ones that will knock a couple of minutes off my bike splits, and id probably use them in the long rides at the weekend.  Id keep the R500's for the week days.

Would the easton circuits offer any better aero advantage than the R500's, or are they just a better all round wheel?

From all I have read, the circuits will not give you any significant (if any) aero advantage over the R500 wheelset. The wheel needs to have at least a 50 MM dish to have any real aero improvement. The Flashpoint 60's will provide that aero advantage you are looking for. Not sure if you will see as much of a time improvement as you expect. a lot of other factors come into play, such what speed you run at, etc. Your overall aero position on the the bike is by far the most important.

An Aero helmet, if you keep your head in proper position, will give you more improvement per $$$

I have a set of East Circuit wheels that I purchased with my bike that I use for racing as well as all my every day riding. I have over 10,000 miles on them with no issues. I figure I still need a lot of work on the engine, before I start bike upgrades.
