I've done marathons and triathlons for a few years but have hardly ever used anything to refuel during a race or long training session other than water. I think using sport drinks or the mixes would be good I just don't know which ones are the best for training...any thoughts to help me out? Thanks...
Easiest thing to race with is what is on the course of your A race. Once you know what they will be offering try training with that and see how well it sits with your body.
I did M Dot IM so I trained with Gatorade Endurance and powerbar gels for last 9 months. They had plenty on the course.
