Subject: RE: 26 wks to ironman I bought the book and I am following the 27 wk 1/2 ironman plan. I am at wk 11 right now and really like the plan. Some have told me to take one day totally off but in the plan has 2 lifting days at the beginning of the plan. I don't feel tired or overtrained. I had a few days which I did (probably because of my real job ) so I just took off. I would really recommend the investment in the book.
Good for the beginner, I have 1 sprint du under my belt last October, started swimming in September, then registered for a sprint in May, Columbia Olympic in May , Eagleman June. I know I'm crazy but aren't we all.
