Comments: It felt good. I treated this as a long training run rather than a race, so I'm still happy to see an overall improvement over last year's time, even if it's just 1:30. What would you do differently?: Race it. :) Post race
Warm down: We walked around and looked at booths and I drank several cups of Cytomax and ate part of a muffin. Stretched and then headed home. What limited your ability to perform faster: The fact that I was treating this as a training run and not a race. And the fact that I did my first long bike ride of the season yesterday, so my legs were already tired. And the fact that I didn't sleep well the night before, although that really didn't affect my running as much as it could have. Event comments: I like this race because it's a flat course that is relatively easy. And because it benefits a community, and lots of people from the school show up to show support.
