Subject: Question about bike/run bricks?

How important is the distance/time ridden when doing a bike/run brick?  For example, is a 60 min. ride followed by a 2mile run just as good as a 120 min. ride followed by a 2 mile run?

I have an oly coming up in 2 weeks and have done quite a few shorter bricks but none with a 24 mile ride followed by a run.  Should I try to squeeze one in before my race?

Thanks for the help!

with 2 weeks to go, I would not want to over stress your body.  At this point, you won't gain additional benefits from 1 workout.  If you are following a sound training plan, you will be fine !!!   If you need the confidence that would come from that one workout, then go for it.  Just ensure you you allow yourself at least a week to recover for race day.
