Comments: I had a great race I actually led the race for over 2 miles before I started to run out of gas.I pushed a little to hard at the start and did not have enough energy in me to maintain that pace.Overall im very happy with my result and a new PR. What would you do differently?: Start off at a slower pace then pick it up as the race progresses.  Post race
Warm down: Walked around drank some water and cheered on the other racers. What limited your ability to perform faster: Not pacing my self better. Event comments: This was a fun race but mostly geared for kids with all of the other activitys they. This was a fund raiser so they could get a new playground.There official timing was a little off from the time that was called out when you finished, my Garmin had the same time as the called time so im going with that. Got up around 7:30 had some fresh strawberrys and waffles with peanutbutter.We then headed over to Peterson school to get on the bus to go to the start line.
Did a couple of short runs up and down the road waiting for the race to start.
