Hey everyone ! I have been living in Dallas for over a year now and am an avid Triathlete. I usually post on the Runnersworld Triathlon forum and a couple of folks over there encouraged me to drop into BT.

I am just curious how many people live in the Uptown Dallas area and would be looking for training partners for long rides and runs?? The long rides 50 -80 miles can get boring solo.

Uptown folks.  Not the suburbs.  Uptown is just north of down town.  Like where Lukes Locker is down south of SMU.  You know, Katy trail and all that?  Yeah.  THAT Uptown.

I'd contact Lukes and see what training runs they have and call Richardson Bike mart at White Rock Lake and see what rides they have. None of them are going to be 80 miles though.

Aren't there some BT folks near downtown?

Hey Brett.  My name is David and we met in Madison, remember?  I'm glad you're on BT now and nice blog!

I live in Flower Mound and do most of my riding up here so I don't know much about the uptown area.   If you want to ride "in the country" sometime, PM me and we can get together.   From the looks of your PRs, we're probably about the same level!

Hey Brett! This is Kenny. My wife and I met you at some of the swim workouts with the TNT stuff this last season. I live in Oak Cliff and do long rides and runs right through your hood'. I am training for the Whiterock Marathon right now and am coming your way every Sunday morning. Let me know if you ever want to get together for a ride or run. I also MTB at the Oak Cliff Nature Preserve. Sweet single track!

David and Kenny,

Hello to both of you guys. I remember you Kenny from the TNT workouts too.

I will be sure to shout out to both of you guys down the road to set up some rides and runs.

Great to see some familiar faces in this Forum.

David,

I am sure since we are both training for IM Madison we can schedule some real long rides together over the next year if your interested.
