New PR by 5 seconds. Went busting out at the start looking for sub 21:00, but came unglued after mile two and limped in to the finish. Not too surprising, since I was fighting a cold all week and haven't done any serious speed work since earlier in the summer. Thought I'd give it a try, anyway, but I didn't have enough in the late goings. Was already burning when the finish line came into view, and couldn't muster much of a kick. Thought I might hurl after crossing the line, which means there wasn't much left to give anyway. "A" for effort, but still compromised by a week of sinus and chest stuff. Maybe next time.

Not much more I could do. I was on target at mile 2, but burned too much juice to bring my sick body home.
