So I found a great deal on a bike trainer, but it just so happens to be rollers.  I couldn't pass up the deal and I've been considering what I should buy (Rear wheel mount or rollers).  So today I bought the rollers.

Holy wow - it's difficult, but so much more fun than the wheel mount trainers.  I may actually be looking forward to the winter now.

I posted a quick video as my profile for my first couple of rides...  Yeah, fun - Click Here!

Anyone use these regularly?  If so, how was your luck getting used to them?  I have a few SpinrVals DVD's, I'm wondering how long before I get the hang of the rollers so that I can watch the DVD's.

I think your dog thinks your nuts!

I am in awe...I have no balance, so rollers are out for me...I like my boring trainer that I can't fall off of! Good luck with the spinervals!

*gasp* Holy cow how cool!!!!!

You are amazing!  I only have a rear-wheel mounted drainer... but man if the rollers are that much fun maybe I should look into a set lol... not so much.

From my training log:

My recommendations for those considering buying a trainer - more specifically rollers:

Watch This Video

And This Video (Free Motion Rollers - Craziness)

And My First Rollers Trainer Ride

You can do it with only a few serious attempts!

 >>})i({RunnerGirl - Let me know the next time you're in the Lansing area - you can try them out!  So much fun!

That's awesome, good for you!!  I got the "boring" kind... which considering my level of balance & grace and the hardness of my basement floor... was a good choice.  But I'm definitely impressed.
