Subject: Finally Went To The Running Store
Well after many years of running on and off I finally went to the running store to buy some shoes. In the past I have always just gone to the sports shop and look at the running shoes see which ones take my eye for a reasonable price then see if they feel comfortable.

In the last few years some old ankle and foot injuries have been catching up with me and I've had a few issues with my knee so I decided maybe I should check into the running store and get the best shoes I can to help ward off any further problems. In the past I have always thought that the running stores only carry the real expensive shoes but that really isn't the case. They worked with me for about 40 mins finding the right shoe for me from moderate prices all the way up to top of the line $140 jobs.

I ended up buying Saucony Progrid Omni 7 moderate for $90. Luckily these look half decent as well as working really well on my first couple of runs. Also in the running was the Brooks "Beast" but at the end of the day the Saucony felt more natural for me.

Just got to order my new "Yanks" now!

I learned this too the hard way while rehabbing my foot after breaking a bone in it. Running stores are so much better than going to a department store.
