Little River Trail Run in Durham

I did this race two years ago. It was alot of fun. And they had great coffee pre and post race, from the Open Eye Cafe in Carrboro - yummy! I love coffee!

It was a very hilly and technical course. Technical meaning lots of roots and rocks to trip on in case you don't know what that means. I think one of the awards at the race is for bloodiest athlete! I fell twice during the race, and got scraped up pretty good, but didn't get that prize!

I gave up trail running not long after that race when I tripped and hit my knee hard on a rock, and it put me out of running for a long time. It took me months to get back to where I was before the injury. It is fun, but not worth a long set back, IMO.
