Pre-race routine:

Got up, ate 2 breakfast bars on the drive to the race (later found out these were my wifes high fiber breakfast bars---which led to stomach craps after the race!)I arrived at the Colonial Center @ 08:00 and registered. It was still cold so I sat in my truck until 08:30. I then got out and ran a 2 mile warm up.

Comments:

I really like doing this race on Thanksgiving morning. I guess the race makes me feel better about pigging out later in the day. The first part of the course was down hill. The last part of the course has a long run up Gervais St. I ran a conservative pace the first half b/c I knew the long uphill run up Gervais was coming up around the 3.5 mile mark. Prior to today my best run on the course was 37:54. It was sweet to get a PR by more than a minute.
