Pre-race routine:

A shot of pepto
Event warmup:

Jogged from the car to registration and back again
Met up with Tom, Dominick, Karl, and Blake near registration
loosened up a bit more at the start

Comments:

It was a good run, I didn't walk at all and I met my goal of a 10K in under an hour.
What would you do differently?:

I was a little nervous about this race since I had not run 6 miles straight in probably 5 months. I should have pushed harder at the start.
Post race
Warm down:

Stood in line waiting for the buses talking to Blake, Bethany (who kicked all kinds of butt), Tom and Dominick. Snacked on a bagel and banana.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Training. Since I now have a base 10K time, I can start chipping away at that number. I'd like to be down to 55 minutes by the Peachtree.

Awesome Amy! That's your new nickname. Congrats on getting under an hour and you even had some time to spare. A very great time for not having run 6 miles in a long, long time.

It was great to see you again and chat a bit after the race.

Are there race results posted some place on the internet yet?
