Comments: I had four layers on. Very cold and windy. This was my first half marathon. Strategy was zone 1 for first 5 miles; zone 2 for next 5 miles;all out for the last 3.1. Unfortunately,I did not have much left at the end. Course was extremely hilly.I ran every hill. A lot of people walked the hills and caught me on the downhill. I had been pretty sick with a cold for the last few days. Glad I did the race anyway. What would you do differently?: Work on speed Post race
Warm down: stretching What limited your ability to perform faster: hilly course and lack of experience Event comments: Great cause supporting the Victory Junction camp. My daughter wants to volunteer at the camp next summer. They could have used one or two more drink stations. Last updated: 2008-10-27 12:00 AM
