Pre-race routine:

Got up, had breakfast at 5AM, got the wifey up, and we drove to AA Center.

Event warmup:

None, I was not jittery at all, I didn't warm up or nothing, it's a marathon, so I figured first few miles were going to be a warm up.

Comments:

The first few were a little erratic, I couldn't hit the pace and I paid dearly for it later. I passed runners like crazy for the first 16, and then it was the other way around.

What would you do differently?:

Start from scratch with a pacer group and not try to catch up with them on mile 10 like I did. Next time I'll shoot for four hours and if I feel ok, I'll push the pace in the last few.

No warm down, I was so exhausted I had to drag my butt to the car and leave.
