Comments: TOUGH RUN! Legs really fatigued after soccer game, and did not feel I replenished fluids enough. Took a positive outlook on the race and approached it as a training session to help my legs get used to pushing when they're fatigued. Need to work on pace. First mile split was at 6:24, running much faster this year, so I need to pay attention to my pace. Start slower, target for mile 1 split of 6:40-6:50. What would you do differently?: Probably not play a soccer match so close to the race start...or at all. ![]() Post race

Had a soccer game at 11am, home by 1pm. Ate banana and hydrated with gatorade before race.
Short jog and stretch, but was trying to recover before race.
