Pre-race routine:

Had a banana and juice with protien powder and a spoon full of cashew/macadamia butter.
Event warmup:

Ran about a mile then did some stretches.

This was a lot of fun the temp was just right the course was flat it was not over crowded could not ask for any better.
What would you do differently?:

Maybe work more on speed.

Walked around the track cheered the other racers on.

I don't know.

Event comments:

The race was put on by the Hermiston High school xcountry team to raise mony for them to get uniforms and equipment.This was a great way to start the new year off.

Course: The race started on the high school track were we did 2 laps before we hit the streets.The course was mostly flat with a little downhill at 1.5 miles in then back up at about 2.5 miles.
