We are forming a new tri-team.  We have a prelim color layout and some sponor logos.  I thought someone with more talent than me (it doesn't take much) might be bored and want to take a stab at drawing up something.  I'll attach what we have so far.  Our team name is "T3"  for Tremont Triathlon Team and also kind of like the 19th green, it's transition 3.  Clever, huh?

That Tremont Fitness logo looks awfully familiar!

Do you have any restrictions as far as the number of colors you can have on your jersey?  That would go a long way in determining what I could put in a design.  Thanks!

no restrictions on number of colors.  FWIW I am meeting with a graphic designer tomorrow. How much help they will be is yet to be determined.  If you still want to play with the design, Great!  If not, no worries.  I do have higher quality files of the logos.  What we really need is a high quality logo(s) for T3 and a overall design layout.  We want a little yellow, and like maroon and grey (probably a little darker than pictured).  Not a fan of white on jerseys.  I'll attach the jersey that inspired our choices so far.

 Thanks for the interest,

 Chris

Duuude, that is awesome.  Just curious, what program did you use to make that?  and is there any possibility that you have it in a higher quality file?  If not, no biggie, just thought I'd ask.

Thank you, as you can tell, I'm not very gifted in the art department.

I used a combination of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop to get it just the way I wanted it (not sure if I accomplished that!).  I can send it to you in a vector (eps) file if you'd like, or a hi-res jpg.  I can also send it without the drop shadow on it if you'd like as well.

baldman, I like that torn effect on the T. Did you nibble off the T with an eraser before you beveled it? Tutorial please!!!

Actually it was the font.  The only change I made to it was to extend the top right of the T to go completely behind the 3.  The font for the T is called "Storm" and I think you can get it at 1001freefonts.com

Thanks. I've tried to make that effect before and getting a uniform look was driving me nuts.

I would suggest making the two fonts come closer together in style. The 3 in the T3 is the "athletic" style, but the T3 in the cog logo is something else entirely. I'd pull those two together to make it more cohesive and see how that looks. Otherwise, hot stuff!
