Subject: Uploading Runs from Garmin 705
I can upload a cycling workout, but I can't make it upload into the running area of the training log. How do I tell the Garmin 705 that the run is a run and not a cycle?

I'm not aware of any way to change the sport on an Edge 705. It's marketed as strictly a cycling computer.

Honestly, I don't see us creating that anytime soon.

As you can tell from this forum, we get a lot of feature requests and ideas. Between those and the ones we come up with on our own, it's impossible to implement them all so we have to focus on those that we believe would be most useful to the greatest number of people. Moving workouts from one sport to another as a hack for a very expensive, specialized device like the 705 doesn't come out on the right side of that cost/benefit analysis.
