Hi gang....I don't post much in this forum but I am currently in week 5 of the Body For Life program and am having very good success so far.  I would be happy to answer any questions relative to my workouts and diet, as I am always interested in learning from others and sharing what I have learned about what is working and not working.  I did research the program before starting and obviously read the book, but I was not sure what to expect.  I have gone from 252.3 to 230.1 in just under 5 weeks.  Today is day 33 of the 84 day program.

That is great. I had much success in 2002 using the program. I went from 285lbs to 215lbs. It was a great program, I liked it because it took out the guess work on what you needed to do each day and I did not spend hours a day in the gym.

Have a great day

I enjoyed the program, I did it just before turning 40. My pictures are in one of the before and after threads on this site, but I did manage around 5-6%bf. I remember it as a very intense workout and very strict diet, and I really started to see results when I started doing cardio 2x a day. I finished the gain muscle and loose fat program and although I dont think I could have the discipline and time to do it again, it was an awesome learning experience of how my body reacted to all situations of working out and dieting. Its not just about pumping Iron and six meals, you have to figure out what works for your body.

I just dusted off my BFL book on Monday and incorporated the aerobic portion into an interval cycling program. It is intense and it works. I was beat for the whole day. Congratulations on your great progress.

I am familiar with the program and the 3 days of HITT cardio etc. How are you handling your cardio (I ask because I am seriously considering doing BFL again myself)? I am always very interested to hear how others fit it in with tri training or distance run training too. Thanks.
