Pre-race routine:

I took a hot shower to loosen up and then just relaxed, was nice not starting a race early in the morning.

I felt really good during the swim, and I though I had another lap to go. I tried to maintain control and not start out to fast. Overall I was very happy with swim.
What would you do differently?:

Have a better count of the laps, I had planned to bust it as hard as I could ont eh last lap, but I miscounted by one.

The bike went much better than I would have thought. I was actually surprised at the speed I was able to go and maintain. It is nice to know all the late night trainer rides paid off some! It was a stationary bike and the seat weird, kept sliding on it. My RPMS remain around 115-120.

I hate treadmills. I started at a 7.o speed pace and worked my way up. I thought I might have an issue with calve cramps, but they never came! The run went well and I was happy because I knew I was so ahead of my time last year!
What would you do differently?:

Pushed alittle more, sped it up faster than I did, get below 15 minutes.

Was a fun race and always a good way to start the tri season. Last year I did this race in 56:47, this year 44:55, Huge difference.
