Only second crit I have raced in, first this year. I am happy with 3rd place finish. My legs could feel the 68 mile ride from earlier in the day.
What would you do differently?:

Maybe not ride so long earlier in the day.

Way to go Jared! I've always been too scared to try racing in a crit. How many more races like that before you jump up a category?

Scared is a good word to describe it.  When the corners come you just pray you don't go down. 

I think I would have to do 3 or 4 more. . this is a series at Clinton Lake in Lawrence, so I should be doing that many in the next month or two.  We will see. . .
