Happy Friday to all!
Today, I got up at 6am and ran 3.1 miles, being my shorter run for the week. SOO exciting. Really, for me to say that 3 miles is short, is amazing!!!! I never thought I would be running this distance this quickly! I guess I was just excited and invigorated about being up and out so early. Lovely really...I'm very surprised at how I don't feel overly fatigued afterwards either. I guess that means I'm doing alright, and can definately push myself way further! YES!!!
Hope everyone is having a good week! Go triatheletes!

Isn't it an awesome when a distance you couldn't do just a few short months ago is now considered a SHORT distance!  Way to go!

You know you are on the right track with your training when you are able to either shave time off or extend your distance at the same pace AND it feels great :-) ! I love being able to run for 50 minutes or an hour, then at the end feel invigorated. Not too long ago, runs of about 20-25 minutes left me wheezing and spent and worthless the rest of the day. Now I can run twice as far several times a week, and feel better afterwards, or so it seems.

Some would look at us and wonder what is wrong with us. Those of us who know can't explain because I am afraid they would never understand.
