Started at a pretty fast pace. After 2k I got confused with the distance markers and thought for a while I was doing 5m/km which was slow compared to perceived effort. After 3k, a guy came by asking how everything was doing and told our little group that we were doing 4m30/km... relief! From 3k to 6k I got some stiffness in the lower right leg at the front that for a while was feeling like it was propagating to the tight & hip. Other than that, temperature management was the biggest issue of the race as it was cold, humid, windy & drizzly at times. At full head wind I tended to become quite cool, limit uncomfortable. When protected from wind, I was getting hot pretty fast.

Overall, good race, time was better than what I expected.

Would not help a friend moving the day before.

Don't forget clothes to change right after the race when it's cold!!!!
