Subject: Wet Suit in Kansas City or Springfield....

Any Tri shops either place? I am in central MO but my work takes me to KC and Springfield every once in awhile, and I am thinking I might need a wet suit for a tri I have in KC the end of May.

I have not done that tri, but I know there are those on here that have, so I'll let them share their experience with the water temps.

It's brand new - first year for it.  I'm expecting the water at the end of May to still be cool enough for a wetsuit, given that the Kansas 70.3 a couple weeks later allowed wetsuits last year.

No idea where you can buy one in KC, I ordered mine online.

I know I can get them online all day long. Its the deal that I am 6'6" tall and 215#. I dont have the "typical" body frame so I was hoping to be able to try them on.

BikeSource in Overland Park, KS usually has some wetsuits in stock.  I would call and check forst though.  Other than that.   .  . I don't think any place carries them locally.

I know Elite Cycling is now a Blue Seventy Dealer and keeps inventory in stock.  I know they are also a 2XU dealer, but I don't think they have any 2XU suits in stock.

I have a Blue Seventy Helix there I have to go pick up.
