Subject: Buying a HRM and bike computer. Need advice I just got paid and want to get a HRM. Ideally I would like it to be under 100 dollars, have a timer on it (so I don't need to wear a watch as well ). I don't know if I would need more than that but I know that those two are a requirement. Suggestions on specific HRM's and where to buy online? features that I should have as a newbie? I am fine with pretty barebones, I just want to be able to make sure I am in my zones.
I also want to get a cheap bike computer that will tell me speed and distance. Wireless or no I am not too bothered unles someone has a reason for one or the other. I have a hybrid bike that I train on (bought it before starting to tri and I am sticking with it for a while ) so I am not sure if that means I need one that accounts for odd wheel sizes.
