Run
Comments: I felt pretty good. Health was good and I was looking to go sub 50. That was until I saw the course. Then I adjusted and said sub hour. I have never done a real trail run so this was something new and took some getting used to. What would you do differently?: Maybe get some trail running shoes. On some of the downhills I had to be a little cautious. I felt very strong at the end of the race so I was happy with that. Post race
Warm down: None. What limited your ability to perform faster: Weather and shoes. When it started snow/raining at mile 3 I knew it would be a long day. Luckly about mile 4.5 it stopped and I was able to really push the rest of the way in. Event comments: This race would make a great training course, but it was nothing special as far as a race goes. But I was treating it like a fun training run so it was good for me. :) Last updated: 2009-02-01 12:00 AM

Got up early and just kind of hung out before leaving for the race. At the race, just tried to keep warm and watched some of the lacrosse match going on. :)
None, just ran in place a little.
