Woo hoo! I'm psyched. And looking forward to my first event, a Dualthlon really (no swimming in New England in the Spring), 3.1 run / 17 bike / 3.1 run on April 10th in Sutton Mass. My goal is to finish ahead of at least one person in my age group (55-59).
OK, thanks for the vote of confidence Ron...I'll go for top 5 in my age bracket then! I'm aiming at 25 minutes for each of the runs, 45 minutes for the bike, 2 mintues in transitions. We'll see how close I can come. I don't know what the course is like, might have to reassess it based on hilliness or other factors, but I'll be happy with anything under 100 minutes total.
