Nothing special...got weighed in for the Athena category, then just sat around with my hubby waiting for the start.

Comments:

This was my first time running in the rain. It didn't bother me as much as I thought it would. Barely noticed it after the first 1/2 mile or so. Felt pretty good for the entire run...no pain anywhere, so that's a good thing.

Went inside and ate a banana.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Probably weighing 8lbs more than I did for this race last year. Although my time was faster than last year, despite that.
