![]() Swim
Comments: Sighting was very difficult and so was the breathing. Several mouthfuls of water with the waves! What would you do differently?: Nothing really... the conditions really dictated what I could do. I swam strong and never stopped, just tried to stay consistent. ![]() Transition 1
Comments: Once again, given the winds ~ I felt like the bike went well. I pushed very hard the entire time. Probably harder than I really could/should have. Wet suit strippers really made the transition from suit to bike very easy! What would you do differently?: Nothing really! ![]() Bike
What would you do differently?: Train more in windy conditions, don't wuss out and opt for the indoor trainer. ![]() Transition 2
Comments: Great transition... I was very pleased, and headed out very strong! What would you do differently?: nothing ![]() Run
What would you do differently?: Push harder... got beat by 1 second at the finish. Should have dropped the hammer for the last mile! ![]() Post race
Warm down: Light stretching... nothing really. Out of town, tough weekend, very distracted, and was just needing to get this race in the books and get back to Houston. Didn't stay for the post race festivities. What limited your ability to perform faster: WIND!!! Event comments: The conditions were tough, the course itself was good. Given the conditions, I am pleased with the results ~ as this was just a first of the season race ("B" Race) and not an "A" race for me. I pushed plenty hard enough. Last updated: 2009-03-18 12:00 AM
