Drove to site with friends, checked in and waited around.
Event warmup:

Light stretching.

First time at this type of race, so didn't know what to expect.

First loop I felt good, ran most of the way, but second loop, lost energy and walked the uphills. Ran the downhills and felt good. Very different to road running.
What would you do differently?:

Pace myself better in the first loop. Also, don't expect too much when dealing with a head and chest cold.

Warm down:

Light stretching, walking and watching the awards. Got a little food.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Planning of the race strategy.

Event comments:

Good race, should be good for the next in the series.
