Run
Comments: felt good but don't own trail shoes so a little slick on wet grass What would you do differently?: different shoes Transition 1
Comments: Not sure of actual time, didn't hit the watch and there was no official timing of transitions Bike
Comments: Felt good on ride for the most part (I am not normally comforable on the MTB. Haven't been on MTB since nov 04. But with all the trainer rides and training felt good. Threw my chain 1/2 way thru 1st of 2 loops. (about 30-60 sec to fix) Back hurt for most of ride due to different position. What would you do differently?: Have clipless pedals or atleast straps on pedals. Transition 2
Comments: Felt good coming off bike into transition only slightly wobbly. Forgot to take helmet off initially ran 20 ft and then turned around to drop off helmet. What would you do differently?: Remember helmet Run
Comments: legs a little wobbly on first .5 miles on the grass and then felt good after .5 mile into run. What would you do differently?: shoes. Ankle need more support on grass/trails Post race
Warm down: stretch What limited your ability to perform faster: not much, if I didn't throw chain, maybe would have gained 1-2 mins on time. Event comments: Good start of the season duathlon/triathlon 10th woman to finish. Really surpassed what I thought I would do for this race. Last updated: 2005-04-10 12:00 AM
