Subject: No turning back...
Well, my wife and I registered for a Duathlon (5k run, 30k bike, 5k run) at the end of this month, and for Mountain biking and 10k run events at the Arizona Police Games next month. Guess there is no turning back now...

My goals: finish the duathlon ahead of last place, finish the Mountain Bike race (18 mi)ahead of my supervisor, have enough energy to finish the 10k two days later.

lol, goodluck with your goals (especially with finishing 18 mins in front of your supervisor).. im sure u should achieve them if you put your mind (and of course body) to it

Besides the physical endurance bit... i think you can do what ever it is you believe yourself to be able to do. In other words.... during the race, it'll be mind over matter! Lots of luck!
