Comments:

The 1st 150 was HORRIBLE ! Could not get settled nor breath, what the hell... Once I got my mind square I was still slow but able to start thinking on how to actually swim. Really did not like my swim...
What would you do differently?:

I don't know, i am going to have to look at how I am training. For sure need to do some mental work, i know that the first 150 is mental and too much adrenaline...
Transition 1
  • 01m 21s
Comments:

#2/51 in AG time wise !!!! And had to crawl under the rack because I came in on the wrong side but that worked out ok 'cause i just grabbed the bike as I went under and kept going !! lolo
What would you do differently?:

Nothing
Bike
  • 44m 25s
  • 15 miles
  • 20.26 mile/hr
Comments:

A bit of a problem at the start. Seems that the chain was kicked off of the big front ring and it took a bit of doing ot get it on the big ring.

Rode pretty hard but still need to get faster!!

Rode well the entire time but need more practice STAYING in Aero. Had to get up on occasion to change position. Passed folks and that was nice...

Was passed by a few rockets, girls included... lolo
What would you do differently?:

Make sure that the gearing/chain is right @ T setup.

Work speed and intervals more in training.
Transition 2
  • 01m 23s
Comments:

#20/51 in AG time wise and I really screwed around. Came in on wrong side of rack and then came back to drop a gel bottle! arg !
What would you do differently?:

Get my rack spot visually better. Missed it both times...
Run
  • 30m 31s
  • 3.22 miles
  • 09m 29s  min/mile
Comments:

ARG !! Where do I start ? Well, maybe in defense... This was really the first running I have done since the marathon. I have had start and stops in my run training 'cause of the IT and tendonitis problems, so the result was easy to forcast.

Ok, got off of the bike and my legs were crap! Took a mile before they started to break loose at all and then I was able to kinda run by the last 1/2 mile... nice...
What would you do differently?:

Well, I think a little consistant run training would be nice...

A few brick workouts would probably be a good thing as well...
Post race
Warm down:

Stood in line for 30 minutes to get disgusted and leave...

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Swim was sucky and the run was a disaster ! Other than that... Great day !!

Enjoyed the bike (first race on the new bike, Cervelo P2!!), great volunteers, really like the Woodlands and I was having fun, well except for the run part... lolo Better than being at work or digging ditches, right ?!?!?!

Event comments:

Nice, shaded course, loud, friendly, cheering volunteers !!
